Tashya De Silva

Tashya lives and works in the Vancouver area and has had a passion for singing from a young age. She has over 20 years of experience as church musician singing liturgical music where she cantors, directs choirs, sings at weddings and funerals. She is also an active member of the Spirit Alive Chorale. She has been a featured soloist with large and small orchestral ensembles. Tashya has a master’s degree in psychology and works as a school councellor when she is not dazzling audiences with her singing talents. Tashya’s fiery vocals are showcased in Blue Buttercup where R&B, blues, jazz, pop and show tunes are a part of her repertoire. She looks forward to performing for you!

Robert Woitowitsch

Robert lives and works in the greater Vancouver area. When he is not teaching music, he spends his time performing, directing, arranging, composing and recording music. He also runs a recording studio where he writes, produces and engineers musical projects. He has played with various bands and musicians over the years including The Silver Stars,The Shed Kings, The S-Bahn, Beatles 4TheCure. His original composition for guitar quartet, Bird Song, has been performed by the Vancouver Guitar Quartet and featured on CBC Radio. Robert has a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of British Columbia where he was trained as a classical vocalist. He holds a second degree in Education. Robert has also done extensive work directing choirs, soloing, playing organ for church services, weddings and funerals. Robert’s dedicated passion for singing, playing guitar and arranging all genres of popular music is showcased in Blue Buttercup. He looks forward to performing for you!
